It’s a hat-trick for PIF member Millin Brook Luxury Dog Boarding as they scoop three national awards!
Millin Brook Luxury Dog Boarding, based in Pembrokeshire, has had an extraordinary couple of months. Business owners Dave and Sian Smith began their award-winning streak at the PetQuip Awards at the end of September. Held at the Telford International Centre alongside PATS, the pet and aquatic trade show, the couple were delighted to win Business Service of the Year.
Sian shared: “We are absolutely thrilled to have been awarded Business Service of the Year. We put our heart and soul into providing the highest possible level of service to our wonderful clients, and it’s great to have this recognised by industry experts!”
On 7th November, the family-run business claimed the Kennel of the Year award at the 2024 PIF Awards – their second win in three years. Celebrating excellence within the pet industry, the PIF Awards highlight individuals and businesses that uphold the highest standards of quality. Nigel Baker, CEO of PIF, commented: “Millin Brook particularly impressed the judges, scoring very highly on their customer satisfaction scores.”
Business owner Dave added: “This is the biggest accolade we can receive in the pet industry, and we are so very proud.”
The success continued on 21st November at the Dog Friendly Awards held at the Kennel Club in Mayfair, London, where Millin Brook won the Kennel and Home Boarding category. Sian reflected: “It is such a beautiful venue, full of history. Following the award ceremony, we were treated to a fabulous afternoon tea, and one of the highlights was meeting Ted the dog from Gone Fishing. We ended the day with a tour of the Kennel Club museum and a few celebration drinks.”
